I Am Truly Blessed

I am truly blessed because I think I must have the best friends in the world.  I have received so many wonderful responses to my blog.  A number of you have subscribed to it. Some of you posted comments on the blog. Some of you sent me personal emails to either Yahoo or Facebook.  Your responses have been so loving, encouraging, supportive, and informational.  I am so grateful to have you all in my life.  This is very encouraging to me.

I have done pretty well these past couple of days.  I haven’t totally gotten every step down pat yet, but I am working on it.  My eating has been okay.  My biggest problem right now is that I am not eating enough.  On Monday, I got up read my scriptures and ate breakfast, but I got so busy during the day that I didn’t eat again until I got home and finished my lessons.  That was 6:30pm.  Okay, that’s not good.  I was soooo hungry.  I was so nervous about eating something bad, that I chose to wait and not eat anything at all.  I had food with me, I just didn’t eat it.  Actually, I didn’t like what I brought to eat.  I realized that morning when I was packing my lunch that I didn’t have any food in the house to really take for lunch.  So, now I know that I have to shop differently.

This journey is going to require a lot of planning, and that is definately something that I need to work on.

You got it. Set your self up for success by creating the environment that will help you work your plan. When I lost my 50 pounds the hardest thing was to go through my cabinets and refrigerator and throw everything away that was not part of the plan. And then to go out at buy the necessary foods to keep me on track without being hungry. Fruits, vegetables and lots of water. The other thing that helped me was to write it all down. I knew I needed at least 5 fruits and vegetables, so I market it down to help me be accountable. This worked for me, but you need to do what works for you. Promise me you will eat, because your body, mind and spirit needs fuel, but you can still make good choices.

I love you and know that you can do this!

I am so glad that you are experiencing “self-realization and awareness.” Remember some simple things to do….eat more often….but less….eat more types of good proteins…nuts, beans, etc. and less meat….the size of your fist is the key….eating EVERY 2 OR 3 HOURS…(SET YOUR ALARM CLOCK) THAT WILL LEVEL THE BLOOD SUGARS AND MOVE YOUR BODY FROM STORAGE TO BURN MODE_____…..sorry to say more veggies….lol……WE LOVE YOU….AND ARE PULLING FOR YOU…….WOOHOO!!!!!

Well, like you said you are on the right track. A suggestion could be to make a weekly menu, and from that create your grocery list. But by all means do not starve yourself. That is not healthy. Continue trusting God, putting him first, and everything will go great. Luv ya!

    • Thanks for the great suggestions everyone. I made spaghetti last night, and I have been eating that. I used whole wheat spagetti and organic spaghetti sauce. It was pretty good. I took it for lunch today, and there is enough for lunch tomorrow. I am eating. It is just at weird times. I have to get on a better schedule.
